My Travel Story

My name is Nada Negm and I have recently been accepted to attend Camp 2030 Summit in New York from September 12th - 18th, 2022. Camp 2030 is a highly selective program, and I was chosen from over 3,000 applicants from 100+ countries to attend the Summit as a top Changemaker who is working to take action within their local community.

Camp 2030 takes place during the UN General Assembly and Global Goals Week in New York. During Camp 2030 I will work in a team of fellow youth leaders to develop an innovative solution to a solution relating to poverty, health, clean water, education, equality, economic growth, or climate change.  The objective is that Changemakers who attend Camp 2030 will utilize the skills and networks they've built to implement real, tangible change within their communities when they leave.

This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.  The cost of attending Camp 2030 is $1,300 USD, which covers accommodation, most meals, and all program fees during Camp. It does not cover flights and visa expenses. I hope as aChangemaker, I would be able to tap into my local communities to support their efforts to grow their leadership and create transformative to end poverty, inequality, injustice, and climate change by the year 2030.
