Dear compassionate souls, my name is John Kiunga, and I'm reaching out to you with a deeply personal plea. Life has taken me through unexpected twists and turns, from being a volunteer photographer for an international private NGO in Somalia to facing unexpected challenges. Yet, my determination remains unwavering, driven by my responsibility as a father and my unyielding dream to build a brighter future. I need your support to embark on a transformative journey from Nairobi, Kenya to Canada, where I aim to secure a stable job and provide for my two boys, Jaden and Yohan.

My Story:
For years, my lens has captured the unspoken stories of resilience and hope in Somalia. Through photography, I've shared the lives of those who often live in the shadows. However, circumstances led me to return to Nairobi, where I now stand at a crossroads. Yet, within this challenge lies an opportunity to shape a better life for my young boys and me.

Why Canada?
Canada symbolizes a land of promise, diversity, and inclusivity. Its values align with my aspiration to provide a secure future for my children and continue my creative journey. My skills as a developer and photographer, combined with Canada's supportive environment for immigrants, make it the ideal place for us to thrive.
