My Travel Story

So, you might be wondering, why donate to help some random person go to Japan? Well, I can't force anyone to do anything, so I'll just say my story. So I am the oldest of three in my family, with my parents having me take on everything for the first time. I have been tasked with taking on college, tuition, expenses, and now study abroad. The last part was unexpected for my parents. They promised to support me, but not to the extent to which I am comfortable asking for so much. After all, my siblings still need to embark their college journey as well some day. My parents are immigrants to this country, from the Middle East. They came with basically nothing to their name in the US, but grew enough to have jobs and a big family. I look up to them so much, especially for spending a lot more than they are comfortable with on me and my siblings. This is a huge reason of why I need funding. I do not want to trouble my parents financially. Before anyone asks, I do work 40 hours a week to try and gather funding on the side, but I can not work any more as I am juggling school as well. I know I am one of many people on this site, but honestly, anything can help. Japan is seriously one of my dream destinations. It is going to be an integral part of my career plan because I may have the opportunity to do research there, which will allow me to gain valuable experience into becoming a doctor. To study there and be comfortable knowing that I am not financially straining my parents after everything they have done for me would be such a nice peace of mind. Again, anything can help and I seriously would be helped by anything. Thanks for reading this through :)
