Hi my name is Sheryn. I desperately need funding for an ongoing court case in Concord, North Carolina. I live in Albuquerque, New Mexico and because I have been fighting this case for 9 1/2 years and because I'm a senior citizen and physically handicapped I can no longer afford to travel. My court case is about a property settlement agreement between my ex husband and myself which states he was suppose to sell our mutually owned home and he has refused to do so, therefore he has been in breach of contract for the last 9 years. I finally won my case last February. The judge ordered my ex husband to have our mutually owned home appraised and put on the market. Shortly after I lost my attorney due to his illness and dropping all of his cases, my ex husband got into contempt of court and is still refusing to list the house for sale. I am currently in the process of finding a new attorney to represent me and having to come up with retainer fees it leaves me nothing for travel expenses. As I have stated before this money is desperately needed so that I can show up for court when needed.This money would go towards airline expenses, hotel accomodations, and a rental car. If I get enough donations it would also cover my food expenses. I don't know how many times I will have to travel to NC, I'm asking for donations that will cover any anticipated travel expenses.I would appreciate any generous donations given.
