My Travel Story

Hi, I'm Erion Morton, and I am currently a sophomore at Chatham University in Pennsylvania. I have been studying Japanese for 4 years, and have been granted the opportunity to study in Japan through IES Abroad. I have been accepted into their Tokyo Summer program, a 6 week long language intensive program that includes many opportunities to explore the surrounding area. I will be living in the heart of Tokyo in the National Olympics Memorial Youth Center, and will have the chance to delve into the culture of Japan in a massive way. I cant wait to jump a year's worth of Japanese language in just this short amount of time! This will be my first study abroad experience, and also my first time out of the country, so I have been anxiously counting down the days until the program starts May 31st!

I have applied to various scholarships through my university and through third party organizations to get my costs for this trip down as much as possible, but I still I need some help getting the more impending costs (airfare, program deposit) covered. Any donation, big or small would be greatly appreciated!
