Hi, my name is Sherman Wright. I am 47yo. I am currently a proud undergraduate at the great University of Stirling in Scotland. Originally I hail from a working-class area namely the Doury Road Housing Estate in the rural town of Ballymena in the County of Antrim, Northern Ireland.
 
At our university "work abroad volunteer recruitment day" recently, I applied to help teach deprived children in Madagascar with the hope that I could be part of a team offering heartfelt concern, also happiness and love, alongside an understanding of the social state of play in the area of where I will venture to.

My application has come back successful and I will make my way to this Island of the East Coast of Africa in June of 2019, where I will be deployed as part of a volunteer group selected from many other countries around the world.

For this I am forever thankful, because regardless of what I am trying to do now, by aspiring to better myself by way of education, this has always been something that stimulated my mind on the thought of one day I could be part of a team that would carry out such duties, however, it was nothing more than a distant dream, in reality. 

However,  now that this dream has now become reality, this journey is something that means everything to me. If you wish t to fund my journey to help teach children in Madagascar in whatever way possible, then I simply wish to declare my deepest respects to you personally.

I also wish to clarifiy that this journey is not a holiday for me, I wish to emphasise it is solely about offering time, love and laughter in the format I will be given by the leaders of this expidition as well as participation in offering as much educational help that we can to the deprived children of Madagascar.

"In this request for financial sponsorship and support, I hope you can understand that if you help me, then together we can help others" and it is really as plain and as simple as that.
