My Travel Story

I am fundraising to go au pair abroad, in France. This will be an opportunity of a lifetime for me and will allow me to get out of my comfort zone and explore a whole new country and culture. I love traveling but have only been to one country (Botswana), outside of my home country (South Africa), on a school trip. I have been desiring to au pair and travel abroad since around 2020 but have not had the funds to go ahead and do it. When I heard about crowdfunding and the possibility to get funding to travel, I thought I should give this a go. I am an outgoing, curious and open-minded young woman, and currently studying for an undergraduate degree in law with the University of South Africa. This program and trip will help change my life in more ways than one, by not only exposing me to a whole new culture and geographical location, but also giving me some form of work experience, income and new independence. I would greatly appreciate your donations to help towards making my dream of traveling and au pairing abroad a reality.
