My Travel Story

​Hi my name is Tamid and I am an international Lebanese student at San Diego State University. I have an overdue balance of 3,515$ from the fall which I couldn't pay because I got COVID and had to pay my hospital bills as well as my treatment. I suffer from two autoimmune diseases (Psoriasis and Ulcerative Colitis) that worsened when I got COVID. Consequently, I had to take biologics to contain the flare up which are pretty expensive. After paying all my treatment bills, I was left with 32.27$ in my bank account. Unfortunately, if I don't pay off my Fall tuition by February 1, I will not be allowed to enroll in the spring semester and lose my status as an international student. The economic crisis department at SDSU granted me a 1500$ grant leaving the total down to 2,015$. I truly don't want to lose my chance at an education in the US so any amount is appreciated! thank you.
