My Travel Story

My name is Kelly and I am 58 years old, I live in Nebraska.  I was referred to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester Minnesota following a recent diagnosis of DERMATOMYTOTIS TIF1-gamma POSITIVE whiich is a rare autoimmune condition.  My muscles have become so weak and Scalding blistering rashes on my body.  The Mayo Clinic is 600 miles away one way for me, I was informed to plan on 4-5 days for testing so loding will be needed as well.  This is very hard for me, I had to leave my job last September due to looking freaky and weakening muscles along with so miserable inflammation thru out my entire body, very painful.  I have struggled for 5 years for answers, test after test specialist after specialist.  My insurance does not cover medical travel.  I goal is to " pay it forward" just as soon as i am able.  Thankyou inadvance
