Hello everyone!  I am planning a volunteer trip to the US Virgin Islands for the month of June!  I will be leaving on May 28th and arriving on the 29th, the flight has been booked and everything is ready to go, but I've run into a problem.  My host isn't able to meet me as soon as she was hoping, she can't host me until June 1st or 2nd.  I was expecting to stay with my host the entire time, but now I'm trying to come up with funds for those 3-4 days (accommodations, food, etc).  I will be staying and working on an organic farm on the island of St Thomas.  This farm is one of the biggest food providers for the islands, and needs help expanding to meet demand.  I will be helping to create new garden spaces and restoring parts that have been affected by hurricanes and currently out of commission, along with helping the farm get started with raising chickens and queen bees.  This is an amazing opportunity to offer my help and I don't want to have to cancel because of a few days difference.  I've tried changing my flight to a later date, but it is very difficult during this time.  If you're able to donatehdonate or just share my story, any help will be greatly appreciated!!
