My Travel Story
I had always taken my role as a godmother seriously, condsideringit not just an honorary title but a sacred bond between myself and McKenzie. From the moment I held McKenzie in my arms as a baby, I knew I would do whatever it took to be there for her, to support her, and her feel loved. Over the years, they had shared countless moments together- birthday celebrations, holidays traditions, and spontaneous weekend adventures. But one dream had alwayslingered in McKenzie's heart, one wish she had whispered so many times with hopeful eyes: to go to Disney. I had seen the sparkle in my goddaugther's eyes everytime she talked about meeting her favorite princesses, seeing Cinderella's castle, and experiencing the magic she had only ever seen on television. And I had promised myselfthat one day somehow I would make that dream come true.
For years, life's challenges had gotten in the way. There were bills to pay, responsibilities to handle and unexpected setback's that kept delaying the dream. But I never let go of the idea. I saved little by little, setting aside whatever I could, knowing that one day, she would surprise McKenzie with the trip of a lifetime. It wasn't just about going to Disney- it was about showing McKenzie that dreams weren't just meant to be wished upon but worked for and believed in. I want to teach my goddaughter that magic wasn't just in fairy tales, but in the love and effort people put into making each other happy.
Then, the perfect moment arrived. McKenzie's 15th birthday is approaching, and I am hoping to surprise my goddaughter with her dream trip.
