My Travel Story

This is going to allow me to network with professionals in the area of professional photography. I have always wanted to work in the Africa allowing the world to see what actually happens and see the culture that normally isnt shown on media. I want to show the diversity and the beauty of the world into film. South Africa is a bucket list country since I was little, along with it being one of my favourite places for photos, I also wanted to see England as that is where my family is from. To be able to photograph these places would be a dream and would open up so many opportunties for work after school is done on May, 2018.

    So now I finally get to say that I basically got my dream internship. I have been looking, emailing and hoping that I could work in a foreign country for my internship but thats easier said than done so I have pitched a project to a local news company and I was given the opportunity to travel down to South Africa and up to England to practice travel photography and writing for parts of April and May. This will help me network around South Africa for jobs after I'm done school next May and have to be a real adult. *gulps* Even with all the dangers it is still a dream place to work as a photographer because there are so many stories to tell. Although I will be working to save up, life gets in the way, stuff happens so I've set up this campaign for an extra helping hand. I never ask for things like this but this is something that is going to be a once in a lifetime experience. Anything helps, even a share.
