My Travel Story

Hi I’m Bella I'm 15 and live on the Isle of Wight. I am fundraising so i can undertake voluntary community projects for four weeks in Kenya with Camps International. I am working hard to fund raise with bake sales, sponsored runs and much more, but i need help.

The money raised will go towards my travel costs and for me to help with a variety of project work. This includes community development work, wildlife conservation, and environmental conservation

On this trip I will be involved in projects that will:

Raise the educational standards of developing communities within a rural district of Kenya
Raise the living standards of developing communities, within a rural district of Kenya
Help with ongoing wildlife conservation programmes to preserve biodiversity and protect vulnerable habitats.
The main reason I want to go on the trip is to make a difference in the communities out there. The projects that I will be involved with will be part of the community not just for the time that we are there, but for years to come. I am also really looking forward to seeing a culture that is different from my own, meeting lots of new people and learning some new skills.
Donations would be a huge help so i can go on this amazing trip that will not only help my confidence but help the vulnerable wildlife and the community that is struggling with poverty.
