Rebuilding Dreams: A Three-Wheeler Driver's Journey
My name is Ilangarathne Jayasinghe , and I am a three-wheeler driver working hard to provide for my family in sri lanka. I have two school-age children whose education and daily expenses rely on the income I earn from driving my three-wheeler. However, life has presented me with unexpected challenges that threaten our livelihood.
Recently, I was diagnosed with diabetes, adding a significant financial strain due to the high cost of medications required each month. Despite this, I persevere, knowing that my family's well-being depends on my ability to continue working.
Unfortunately, my three-wheeler has fallen into a state of disrepair. Years of faithful service have taken their toll, leaving the vehicle dilapidated and unreliable. The situation worsens during rainy days, as water leaks into the cabin, soaking my passengers and inviting their frustration and complaints.
I bear these hardships silently, driven by my unwavering commitment to provide for my family. However, the deteriorating condition of my three-wheeler threatens our stability. The necessary repairs are beyond my financial means, especially with existing loans and the everyday expenses of a growing family.
The reality is stark: without a functioning three-wheeler, I cannot fulfill my obligations. The loan repayments, family expenses, and my children's educational needs hang in the balance. I find myself at a crossroads, feeling helpless and desperate for a lifeline.
That's why I am reaching out to you, with hope in my heart and a plea for assistance. Your support can breathe new life into my three-wheeler, restoring my means of livelihood and lifting the burden of uncertainty from my family's shoulders.
