I chose to participate in the work practicum in Germany and France because the program is focused on SAP and design thinking learning. SAP is the top ERP system used world-wide and design thinking is a fast-growing skill-set requirement in the business sector. This opportunity can help me to achieve my academic and career goals by growing my skill-set and knowledge of SAP and design thinking while allowing me the opportunity to work in an international peer group from the SAP headquarters. I am currently an EDI analyst at Southwire and utilize SAP daily; having a better understanding of SAP will continue to expand my knowledge of the system and provide me with future growth opportunities within the company.
