Help me make a difference to Vervet Monkeys in Africa
My Travel Story
In June 2025, I am heading 8,502 miles away to Tzanzeen in Limpopo, South Africa, to help in rehabilitating vervet monkeys. These monkeys are small and grey, and really widespread in Africa. However, this means they can cause all sorts of trouble, like getting into kitchens through windows, and damaging farmers crops during harvest time. This can lead to them becoming injured or orphaned, and they need help being nursed back to help.
My volunteering duties will include preparing food and feeding them, including bottle feeding the baby monkeys, cleaning enclosures, helping in the monkey sick bay, and administering medication.
I have worked with animals all my life, however I feel that now is the time to make a difference in a completely different country, where I can not only enhance my skills, but give back to a community.
