My Travel Story

I'm elated to announce that I have been granted the opportunity to volunteer teach this summer in Livingstone, Zambia, Africa. As many of you know, I have been a teacher in a suburb of Miami for 5 years, and over that course of time I have fallen in love with teaching the next generation. To travel abroad to help a community of people where education is much harder to come by is an absolute dream of mine. In Zambia, public education is minimally funded, which means many children and communities rely on organizations like Dream Livingstone, and their volunteers, to give students the access to basic schooling. 
In order to fulfill this dream of mine to uplift and change the Livingstone community, I will need your support. With it, I promise to do my best to improve the educational outcomes for all Zambian students I will have the privilege of working with. I will aim to add value to the local community, while also developing personally and immersing myself in the Zambian culture. No matter the amount, I appreciate your support and I'm immensely grateful for it.
