I moved to Arizona four years ago because my husband's health was deteriorating and the RI climate was not conducive to healing.  It has been a rollercoaster ride and I was unable to work with his condition(as well as caring for our very senior dog). He has reclaimed his health and I am able to leave him alone now.  I booked a short trip last October to visit my 89 year old mom, but the flight was cancelled last minute.  Although my ticket was refunded, I still lost money for my rental car.  Because I was unable to work for so long and most of my husband's healthcare is unconventional and uncovered, I ended up using that money for essential things.  I started delivering with Uber Eats, but with the price of gas and my car that gets only 15 mpg, it's difficult to stay afloat.  I would love to go back east and visit my mom before her 90th birthday.  It's been very difficult being away from her especially during recent surgeries.  She has offered to pay for my ticket, but she lives social security check to social security check.  I am not in the custom of asking for help and this is difficult for me, but I need to see her.
