Hi!! My name is Kiera, and I’m a sophomore at Loyola University Chicago, majoring in Advertising Creative/Public Relations. Last year, I had the incredible opportunity to study in Rome and travel throughout Europe. That experience opened my eyes to the beauty and diversity of the world—but it wasn’t enough. I’ve always felt the need to see more, and experience life beyond the boundaries of my hometown in Minnesota.

Australia has always been my ultimate dream. From its breathtaking landscapes to its innovative industries, I know it’s the perfect place for me to grow personally, academically, and professionally. My goal is to study or intern in Sydney, where I can immerse myself in hands-on experiences that will shape my future career.

I was recently accepted into a program in Australia, but I had to make the difficult decision to let it go because it was too expensive, and my parents are unable to support me financially. That was a tough moment, but it didn’t break my spirit—it only made me more determined to find another way.

This isn’t just about travel for me. It’s about stepping into the future I’ve worked so hard to build. Studying or interning in Sydney will give me the tools I need to succeed in my field and the opportunity to continue growing as a global citizen.

I’ve always been resourceful, working hard to self-fund my education, but this dream is too big to achieve alone. That’s why I’m asking for your help. Every donation, no matter how small, will bring me closer to making this lifelong dream a reality.
