My Travel Story

I have done lots of wildlife volunteer work in my life, but nothing quite like this! I am taking an adventure of a life time and volunteering in Victoria Falls Zimbabwe.

I will be working with a team dedicated to wildlife conservation. The work I will be doing will vary from animal tracking, to removal poisonous plants, to water hole creation and so much more! The reserve is home to the big 5 (lion, leopard, elephant, rhino and buffalo) and serves as an intensive protection zone for the critically endangered black rhino.

I am excited to use my previous veterinary medicine experience to assist in such an influential program. I will also have the exciting opportunity to volunteer at a school working with the children of Victoria Falls.

This opportunity is definitely once in a lifetime and I can’t wait to share photos.
My goal from this experience is to appreciate every moment, learn from it, and give back as much as I can!
