My Travel Story
My name is Andrés, I'm 23 years old.
I'll keep it brief, as I don’t want to bother you. I used to live with my grandfather, but he passed away from a stroke. Currently, I live in my parents' garage. I’ve been diagnosed with mixed anxiety and severe depression. I wish I’d had more time with my grandfather to visit the places we had planned together.
I enjoy a peaceful life and appreciate the little moments. I’d love to travel to one of the places we were supposed to visit—Japan, in this case—to breathe in the fresh mountain air, scatter some of his ashes there, and give my life a pause.
Sadly, my parents don’t believe in my illness, claiming I’m faking it or just seeking attention. Because of this, ever since I became ill, they have taken away all forms of support and only mocked me.
I am starting this fundraiser because I wish to visit this place with my grandfather (in spirit, with his ashes) before I run out of time
