My Travel Story

In 2013 I had my first meeting with Greek Cat Resque a cat shelter on the greek island of Samos. I had found a injured cat and like the crazy cat lady I am I took care of it and got in contact with Greek Cat Resque. This was the beging of a long friendship and the start at my own adoption of two of cats to sweden.

Now when Im unemployed I would like to take the chance and go back to Samos to work as a volunteer at the cat shelter. Volunteers play a vital role in helping with the day to day work at the shelter, except the daily work such as feeding and cleaning they also help with:
- Sterilisations of male and female street cats
- Help and take care of sick, wounded and weak street cats and kittens and care for orphan kittens
- Feed street cats and monitor their health
- Adoptions of former street cats and kittens
- Create awareness for our work and for the fact that street cats need help and care.

I have calculated that flight and with accommodation for a month will cost about 20000sek it is about 2000EUR or 2000usd if I dont get enough so I can go their I will donate the money that I collect to Greek Cat Resque.
