I'm excited to take this next journey in my educational career as I intern abroad in Barcelona, Spain. The program that I am participating in will be a personalized marketing internships that caters to my interests in marketing and will provide me with the experience that I will need, as I begin the final chapter in my educational journey. I plan to use this trip as more than just an educational experience. While abroad, I plan to employ my skills and and my philanthropic passion to give back to the community that I will be residing in. My passion for this program lies within my passion for business development and consulting. Through taking a Project Management Communication course, I made this decision and I don't regret making the change in my major. Helping small business and being a resource to them has always been something that has greatly interested me. Now, I'm glad to be able to actually take the steps needed to actually become a resource to small business and startup companies. I chose this destination, Barcelona, because I am confident that the CISabroad Program and the city of Barcelona will provide me with a unique experience that I can't and won't find anywhere else. That's why this program means so much to me. It's a program that will force me to step outside of my comfort zone and try something that I normally wouldn't do. I am traveling abroad to intern in a country that speaks a language that I am not fluent in. That's why this experience means so much to me.

  • Excited For The Jouney Ahead!

    I'm so excited to officially announce that I will be interning abroad in Barcelona, Spain! This is something that I've thought about for a while and I'm glad that the possibility is becoming more real each day! Fortunately, this is something that I can't (and don't want to do alone)!
