My Travel Story

Hi! My name is Courtney and I am partnering with IVHQ to travel to Tanzania for childcare (my first time traveling internationally!). I have always loved working with children, and I hope that by showing these kids love, caring for them, and improving their education, I can help them make a difference in their community.
 I also feel I will be humbled by this experience. I am so blessed with material things that people in third-world countries do not get the luxury of having. Yet they are still so happy. They have this joy that can only be found in being thankful for the little things.
 During this gap year season of my life, where I'm still trying to decide on a career, I wanted to spend some time abroad to get a perspective on how other countries live and function, and learn more about myself in the process.
