My Travel Story

Hi Friends and Family! As many of you know, I recently joined the medical field as a Certified Medical Assistant at Sainte Genevieve County Memorial Hospital. Over the past 6 months I have been a float MA for the clinics giving me the opportunity to become diverse in several different departments such as Urology, Cardiology, ENT, GI, Primary Care, Walk-in, and Pediatrics. 


I am excited to share that I have been accepted to join a Medical and Healthcare Mission Trip to Peru in January. On this trip, I will spend a week volunteering everyday at the clinics and hospitals for low-income families in Cusco that tend to be under-funded and under-staffed. Some of my tasks will include: giving injections, assisting doctors with physical exams, taking patient histories, and giving vaccinations. 

I am so very blessed for this opportunity to share my time and knowledge to hopefully make a difference in someone's life, but I cannot do it alone. I’m seeking monetary donations to cover travel expenses, accommodations, insurance, supplies, and fees. This trip will be a life changing experience! More than anything, I will value your prayers for every patient I encounter and for my safety as I will be traveling by myself.
