My Travel Story

For years, I played it safe. I focused on my education and built a career in Anti-Money Laundering, honoring a promise to my late mother to finish my Master’s degree before anything else. But last year, a switch flipped. I realized I only have one life to live, and I decided to stop wondering "what if." Since September, I’ve been doing the dirty work—5 AM sprints and relentless technical drills—to transition from a corporate professional to a pro-track beach volleyball athlete. The grind is working: I’ve already jumped from A-level to podium finishes at the AA-level in just four months.
Now, the journey takes me to the heart of the sport: Brazil. I have been invited to an intensive training camp this July to learn directly from Olympic coaches and world champions. This isn't a vacation; it’s the "Technical Armor" I need to bridge the gap to
the professional circuit. I’m raising $5,000 to cover the elite coaching fees,
international travel, and training costs required to compete at this level. This camp is a non-negotiable step in my career, and I’m looking for partners to help me reach that next milestone.
Beyond the stats, I’m playing for representation. As a Nigerian-American, I want to show that our explosive genetics belong on the sand just as much as they do on the track. I’m training to represent Nigeria on the world stage, and bring recognition to a sport where our community is just beginning to dominate. Whether you are supporting a local athlete, a Master's grad chasing a dream, or the future of Nigerian volleyball, your contribution helps me prove that it is never too late to be elite. Thank you for being part of the grind.
