"Empowering Change: A Fundraiser for Education and Leadership in Peru"

Dear Supporters,

I'm reaching out to share an exciting opportunity that has ignited a passion within me and has the potential to make a profound difference in the lives of others. My name is Tosha Arriola, and I have been given the incredible chance to volunteer in Peru through the International Volunteer HQ's Childcare project, focusing on early childhood education in the Andean city of Cusco.

This journey is not just about fulfilling a personal dream of visiting Peru; it's about answering a call to serve, to contribute to a cause greater than myself. Through this volunteer experience, I will be working alongside dedicated preschool teachers, providing individual attention, leading educational activities, and assisting with working alongside the local teachers who work with children aged 3-12 from low-income families.

With a background in training teachers as a professor and coaching, I aim to go beyond the basics. I plan to offer professional development opportunities for the local staff, sharing knowledge and resources to enhance their skills and enrich the learning environment for the children. By introducing bilingual books, activities, and literacy best practices, I hope to leave a lasting impact on both the students and educators.

I am also thrilled to collaborate with the non-profit Peruvian Hearts, an organization committed to empowering young women through education and leadership development. In addition to my work in childcare, I will be leading a women's leadership workshop for 36 scholars, providing them with the tools and confidence to become change-makers in their communities.

But here's where I need your support. This journey requires financial assistance to cover travel expenses, accommodation, and program fees. By contributing to this fundraiser, you're not just helping me embark on a life-changing experience; you're investing in the future of these children and young women in Peru.
