Hi, I’m Nicholas — a lifelong hockey fan from the UK, and I’ve had one dream for as long as I can remember:

To see the Pittsburgh Penguins play live… and to witness even feel the crowd roar when the goal horn goes, and here Party hard blast through the arena. But also to see Sidney Crosby, The Man, The Myth — the legend himself — on the ice, just once, before he retires.

But it’s not just about one player.
It’s Sidney Crosby. It’s Evgeni Malkin. It’s Kris Letang.
The heart of a generation. The players I’ve grown up watching.
To see them together, on the ice — just once — would mean the world to me.

In 2009, when the Pens won the Stanley Cup, I became hooked. Since then, I've followed the team through every high and low, always from afar. But this year, I’ve decided to try and make it real.

I've started planning the trip:
Flights from the UK
Hotel booked
Train from NYC to Pittsburgh
Now all that’s left is the ticket to the game — and finding the rest of the funds to pull it together.

Why I’m Asking

This trip means more to me than just hockey — it’s about chasing something I’ve always dreamed of, even when it felt too big or out of reach.
I’ve been saving, budgeting hard, cutting expenses — even giving up some bad habits to make this happen.

But travel from the UK to the US isn’t cheap, and the clock’s ticking with ticket sales and rising prices.

So if you’d like to be a small part of something huge to me — I’d be grateful beyond words. Even a few pounds or dollars helps.
