My Travel Story

Hi, my name is Ms. Bennett. I am a kindergarten teacher who enjoys working with and being a mentor to students of all ages. I enjoy traveling and believe that it is a great hands-on learning experience for students that builds character, introduces different cultures and fosters confidence and independence. I am raising funds to assist a coworker in chaperoning a group of middle school students on a 5-day educational trip to Washington D.C. and New York City. This trip will be an exciting adventure for our Floridian students. Some of the places on our itinerary that we will be visiting are The White house , Smithsonian museums, U.S Capitol, Memorials, guided night tours, Statue of Liberty, a Broadway show and Central Park. This is an amazing opportunity that will take place during Spring Break 2024.

The funds I am asking for will be used to cover my expenses for the trip which includes transportation, meals, accommodations, guided tours and activities, and gratuities. I am looking forward to sharing this experience with such a wonderful group of students.
