This Field Ecology and Conseravtion class in Southern Africa will include learning the historical, sociocultural, and biological context that influence conservation of landscapes and biodiversity of southern Africa. Only 12 students from the Univeristy of North Georgia inclduing me will be expose to the terrestrial African ecosystems and experience hands-on research and field techniques. Through this, we will become familiarize with human-wildlife conflcits and measures taken to minimize them in public and private game reserves throughout the region. Throughout the class, we will be outreaching to the schools in the Botswana and South Africa region. Thank you guys! Anything will be glady accepted.
