last year, I had the chance to go to a medical brigade and it was such an amazing experience. I met amazing healthcare professionals and other volunteers who had the same goal and passion as me: to make healthcare accessible to everyone. Every clinic day we helped so many young children and family members and provided medication for all kinds of diseases, from infections to chronic conditions such as hyper tension. Seeing the large number of people, who walked miles and miles to the clinic site everyday moved me. It made me realize how important the work we were doing was. It was meaningful and impactful. 

This upcoming March I am planning to attend another brigade in Belize. As of right now I need to fundraiser $2900. It is a lot for me to afford as an independent college student, however I don't want to let go of an opportunity to do what I love. Please donate, even if it's as little as a dollar to help me afford this trip!
