Imagine your father trapped in a warzone while you shelter in exile, powerless to save him.
This is the agony of Ahmed Yousif, a Sudanese refugee in Egypt. He fled Sudan with his mother and younger sister, but his father was left behind in Khartoum’s crossfire. Now, Ahmed watches helplessly as his father risks death daily in Sudan while their visas in Egypt expire. Without urgent help, deportation could force them back to the bombs they escaped.
