Help me Attend my Graduation Ceremony at University of Kent
My Travel Story
For me, this is more than just a ceremony — it’s the celebration of years of resilience, sacrifice, and determination. I completed my MSc by taking a student loan, which I am still repaying, and I don’t have any financial backup for additional costs like flights, visa fees, and accommodation.
Originally, my graduation was supposed to take place in November 2025, but due to financial constraints, I had to postpone it to July 2026. I don’t want to miss this milestone again.
After completing my studies, I had to return home because of a mix of health and financial challenges. I was struggling with sensory hearing loss and tinnitus, which made it very hard to continue living abroad without family support. At the same time, I was under the burden of a student loan, with no financial backup or stable income in the UK to sustain myself. Coming back home allowed me to be with my family, focus on recovery, and start repaying my loan responsibly.
On a personal note, my journey has not been easy. Despite these challenges, I worked hard, completed my degree, and am proud of how far I’ve come. Attending my graduation in person would be a true symbol of perseverance and a chance to celebrate with my peers. Every contribution, no matter the size, makes a big difference. I assure you that all funds raised will only be used for my graduation-related travel and expenses, and for nothing else
