My Travel Story

I am passionate about going to Baguio, it's because of its unique blend of natural beauty, rich cultural heritage, and welcoming locals. Here are some of the activities i want to experience:

Learn about its history and culture: Understand the indigenous roots of the Cordillera Region, including Ifugao, Kalinga, and others. Read up on Baguio's history, from its founding to its development as a hill station during the American period, and its modern day significance.
Connect with locals and organizations: Find and connect with locals, tour guides, and organizations who can provide an authentic Baguio experience. It  insights into the local culture, food, art scene, and the best hidden spots in the city.
Participate in local festivals: Panagbenga or the Baguio Flower Festival is a month-long annual flower festival in Baguio held during February. The festivities include floats that are decorated with flowers and street dancing.
Preserve the environment: Show your passion by helping preserve Baguio's environment. This could be in the form of volunteering for tree planting activities, or by practicing sustainable tourism, like avoiding single-use plastics and respecting local customs and natural spaces.
Share my passion: Write about your love for Baguio in blogs, vlogs, social media posts, or articles. Share my knowledge about its history, people, and attractions. Inspire others to discover Baguio and to appreciate it as much as I do.
