My Travel Story

Hi, my name is Rochelle. My sister and I lost our mom to pancreatic cancer on December 1, 2023. She was only 65 years old. Since then it has been a struggle to adjust to our new normal, to just through each day clinging on to hope and the memories of our mother. We have had our very low moments of grief and even those moments with a little joy, here and there.

They say the first year after losing someone is the hardest. My sister and I have had to go through our first birthdays without mommy, mommy's first birthday without her, first mother's day without, first teacher's day (she was a retired teacher) without her and the list goes on.

It has not been easy for us. By the grace of God, we are getting stronger and more hopeful. With all that we have been through, a trip would be a milestone to mark new beginnings and to look forward to a hopeful future.
