I am a Nurse from the UK and currently travelling in and around Australia. In March 2024 I am volunteering in a child care program in Palawan to help with children education. I will be leading lessons in Kindergarden alongside a local teacher.

I have been inspired to volunteer abroad as my Grandma volunteered in Nepal and it looked a great experience. Seeing the children with their huge smiles and having fun whilst learning at the same time.

In the Philippines many young children are missing out on early childhood education. Kindergardens and Schools are often under-resourced and struggle to provide quality care and teaching to their students. Children benefit from the enthusiasm, energy and fun volunteers (me) can bring to these lessons which helps engage them in education and fosters a love of learning in order to develop and thrive.

Funds raised will be going towards the travel costs and volunteer program costs, which I could definitely use some help with, if you are able to help me help others!
