My Travel Story

I have the opportunity to pursue one of my biggest dreams in the UK! I have a deep love for music and singing, and I'll be able to consume myself in eveything about it including producing, singing/songwriting, technology/audio-engineering of it, and collabortaing with other like-minded artists/creatives. Overall, making music that is healing for the overall mind, body, heart, and soul is my ultimate goal.

Traveling and exposure to various cultures has been a significant influence on my upbringing, and I've had my eye on England/UK for a while. Whether to visit and/or live, and it seems like this opportunity is in alignment with my goals since the idea came to me in the process of making arrangements to attend my best friend's wedding in London.

I was offered a confirmed place at University Westminster in the Music Production, Performance, and Business BA (Hons) program in September 2022, and have had a unconditional firmly accepted holding placement each year preceeding the offer letter. UofW Confirmed Offer Letter in 2022
Since having been to the UK for the wedding and back, everything about being in England has just affirmed this opportunity to see it through and make it a reality!

Having 2 prior degrees and being considered a international student from the states, I'm going to need as much support as possible. Doing my due dilligence, there aren't many scholarships/ grants available for American students from my selected University at the moment, and I've applied for FAFSA and numerous scholarships on BoldDotOrg, Scholly, etc to no avail yet. Also, I can't guarentee much support from family since taking on the role as a caregiver, and as it would be used as manipulation for control in my life for codependence. (I've been through the fianacial manipulation already many times, and this is one of the main reasons I'm in the situation I'm in and I've made this mutual aid petiton).

In transparency, I have to submit a depost fee of at least £5,5000 (currently $7,356.25) in order for University of Westminster to begin my student visa application. After that comes the plane ticket, shipping some of my things from home, and any other living needs while studying in England. Once this amount has been raised the next mutual aid petition will be for the amount of school fees. Any help is appreciated, and please make sure you are taken care of before contributing.
