Humble Request for Assistance to Build a House Foundation
Dear Sir/Madam,

I hope this message finds you in good health and spirit. My name is Pallegedara Disanayaka, and I am writing to you with deep humility and hope. I live in Dambulla, Sri Lanka, and I am currently facing severe financial hardship. I come from a very poor background, and despite working hard, I am unable to meet even my most basic needs—especially the dream of building a safe and stable home for my family.

At present, my family and I live in extremely difficult conditions. Our shelter is made from old tin sheets, which offer little protection against the weather. During rainy seasons, the roof leaks and the floor becomes damp. At night, we sleep on the bare ground, exposed to cold winds and unsafe surroundings. I have young children, and their safety and well-being are my greatest concern.

For many years, I have held onto a simple dream: to build a small, modest home—not for comfort or luxury, but to give my family dignity, safety, and hope. However, due to my limited financial means, I cannot even begin the foundation, which is the most essential part of the house. Without it, there is no way to proceed.

This is why I am reaching out to you and others who may be willing to help. I am sincerely requesting support in any form you can offer:

A financial donation—of any amount

Building materials such as cement, sand, bricks, or steel

Or even just spreading this message to others who might be able to contribute

No act of kindness is too small. Every little bit will help move me one step closer to providing a stable home for my children—a place where they can sleep safely, grow in dignity, and dream of a better future.

I am not seeking charity out of laziness or helplessness—I am simply unable to achieve this goal on my own, no matter how hard I try. I am ready to contribute my labor and effort, but I need the support of kind-hearted people to take the first step.

If you are unable to help directly, your prayers, encouragement, or even sharing this appeal with others would mean a great deal to me. I firmly believe that with compassion and community, miracles can happen.

Thank you very much for taking the time to read my request. May you and your family be blessed with peace, health, and happiness.

With sincere gratitude,
Pallegedara Disanayaka
