After a friend went on a missionary trip, I was inspired to do the same. I have never been out of the country, and could not think of a better way to visit another country, see how people live and do something to make the world a better place. I believe we are truly a global community now, and anything we can do to help each other, no matter how small, brings us all closer together. The act of giving is it's own reward, and I have always loved helping others.
