My Travel Story

I’m trying to get some money together to help Jerry, aged just 13 years old, he was recently diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma, and also, more recently had a bout of sepsis. he’s an amazing young boy who is constantly making us all crack up laughing, even when he was using a whiteboard to communicate because he had feeding tubes etc stopping him from talking. He hasn’t even let losing his hair upset him and has taken everything in his stride.

So far he’s been through his first round of chemotherapy and hasn’t shed a tear so far, he’s staying more positive and stronger than almost anyone else could. His mum is by her side 24/7 and is keeping everyone informed as to what’s going on and how Jerry is doing daily. 

We are all blown away by Jerry, and want to hopefully get him some way of keeping in touch with his friends who struggle to visit as he’s pretty far from home at the Newcastle RVI most of the time at the moment.  he’s desperate to get back to school too, so we want to help him have a way to keep up with his school work so he’s not too far behind when he finally beats this and gets the all clear, and returns to school.
