My Travel Story

Hello, my name is Joana and I'm so excited to go to Sri Lanka! I am currently a senior at high school, and I want to do something different in the summer before starting university, therefore I decided to dedicate three weeks of my holidays to volunteer and contribute to a turtle conservation program. My trip is organised by IVHQ.
I feel that this opportunity will give me a sense of fulfilment due to helping the community and animals, as well as, it will be incredible to be immersed in such a rich culture with so many unique things to learn about. 
I plan to take the skills and expertise learned in this experience to my future, as well as, to continue pursuing volunteer programs and maintain a positive impact in the community and environment.
