Hello, wonderful supporters! My name is Lexi Lundquist, and I am a passionate and dedicated junior at Arizona State University, majoring in Business Law. I am embarking on an incredible and LONG journey to Rome, Italy, for my study abroad semester, and I am seeking your support to make this dream a reality. 

Studying abroad in Rome is more than just an adventure; it's a pivotal point in my education and future career. As a Business Law major, I am deeply committed to understanding the global dynamics of law, commerce, and ethics. Rome, with its rich history, legal heritage, and thriving business environment, offers the perfect backdrop for my studies.

This experience will provide me with a unique perspective on international business law, the European Union's legal framework, and the intricacies of cross-border transactions. It will allow me to broaden my horizons, adapt to diverse cultural norms, and enhance my global mindset. These skills and experiences will undoubtedly set me apart in the competitive world of business law and contribute significantly to my future career success.

Beyond personal growth, I am committed to making a positive impact on the local community in Rome. I plan to engage in community service and volunteer activities, such as mentoring local students, participating in cultural exchange programs, and assisting local businesses with legal consultations (If I get that far). By actively contributing to the Roman community, I hope to foster mutual understanding and create lasting connections between my home university and the city of Rome.

When I was young, my father told me that he went abroad to Germany while he was in school. Ever since that exact moment, I have looked up to him for it. Ever since that moment I have wanted to study in Italy! I have been itching for a new adventure, that can help me push myself and find out who I am. I believe that studying abroad is not just about personal gain; it's about embracing diverse perspectives, challenging oneself, and developing a profound understanding of global issues.

I chose Rome because it represents the perfect intersection of history, culture, and business. It's a city where ancient ruins coexist with modern enterprises, offering a captivating blend of tradition and innovation. Rome's legal heritage and its position within the European Union make it an ideal location for my studies, providing a real-world context for my business law education. I also hope to visit the surrounding cities in Italy!

This study abroad experience holds profound meaning for me. It symbolizes my commitment to personal growth, global citizenship, and academic excellence. It's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to immerse myself in a culture that values history, art, and legal traditions, all of which resonate deeply with my academic and personal aspirations.
