My Travel Story

I have been very lucky to be accepted to study abroad in Brighton, England for a month over this upcoming summer. This study abroad trip is specifically geared toward my major in Education and I will be gaining 6 credits for the month that I am there. Over the course of the trip I will gain up to 30 hours of diverse clinical experience observing in schools in England while also attending professional development seminars. There will also be other educational activities that are designed specifically to my content; English. In todays society it is crucial to be a culturally responsive teacher and emersing myself into a different countries education system will only enhance my awareness of becoming a culturally diverse educator in my future classroom. This will be a very educationally fulfilling experience and I cannot wait to explore Brighton and the educational system in England!
