My Travel Story

Living as an openly queer couple and embracing freedom while pursuing my career as a nurse would certainly have its challenges, especially coming from a homophobic country like Nigeria. However, it wouldn't necessarily impact my education or career negatively. In fact, it could potentially enrich my experiences and understanding of diversity in healthcare.

To make a difference in the LGBTQI community, I would advocate for inclusive healthcare practices, ensuring that all individuals, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity, receive compassionate and respectful care. This could involve organizing workshops, providing education to healthcare professionals, and advocating for policy changes. I would use my travel platform to get more audience thereby spreading the love and message.

I'm passionate about this project because I believe everyone deserves to live authentically and access healthcare without fear of discrimination or prejudice. By sharing our experiences and showing that it's possible to live openly and happily, even in challenging circumstances, we can inspire others and contribute to positive social change.

Choosing destinations where LGBTQI rights are respected and celebrated would be essential for our safety and enjoyment. Additionally, selecting locations known for their beauty, culture, and LGBTQI-friendly atmosphere would enhance the overall experience.

This project is meaningful to me because it combines my passion for travel, advocacy, and healthcare. It's an opportunity to live authentically, explore new places, and make a positive impact on the world around us. By sharing our journey, we can empower others to embrace their identities and pursue their dreams, no matter where they come from.
