Hello, my name is Bryanna-Nicole (Bry) Evans. I am currently a senior public relations major at Georgia Southern University.  After graduation I would like to pursue a career in social media management; particularly helping smaller businesses build their fanbase and audience reach. 

Public relations is a highly competitive field. I believe this experience will give me the edge I need to stand out in the job market. Being able to study abroad is a great opportunity to further my skills in communication, learn new marketing techniques, learn how to appeal to international clients, and strengthen my leadership skills.  An added bonus is the ability to immerse myself in another culture and view life from fresh and exciting perspectives! 

 I have spent the past several years in rural Georiga and would love the opportunity to travel outside of the South-East United States.  I have become comfortable here but I am hungry for more. I chose Tokyo as my destination due to their connections with technology and how different their social media climate and usage is from that in the United States. I have always been interested in visiting Japan due to its deeply rooted culture and the beauty of the country itself.  Learning from some of the brightest PR professionals overseas and how they use channels of communication to market to clients online and off will help shape me into the best social media manager I can be. 

Sadly, studying abroad requires funds that I do not currently possess. With the combination of generous donations, this seemingly distant dream could become a reality! I am asking friends, family, friends of family and anyone who would like to support a young woman on her journey to donate. I thank each and every one of you for your encouragement and donations!
