My Travel Story

Hi to any one reading this! My name is Delia Walsh and I'm in need of your support.

During July 2017, I will be setting off on a wonderful adventure, a once in a life time trip. In partnership with African Adventures I will be volunteering in Nakuru Kenya renovating schools and teaching children who are less fortunate than most.

The purpose of the trip is to bring the community to life and create a thriving learning environment for children who have so far been denied this opportunity. By embarking on this amazing trip I and many others will be giving children the chance to experience school life as it should be. We will be making a long lasting difference to the lives of many children for years to come. This trip will also make an outstanding difference in my life and will enable me to realize how fortunate I am and how doing a small act of kindness can make a big difference.

Therefore, over the next 12 months, I will be doing everything I can to raise money so I can set off on this wonderful learning experience to Kenya. My goal is £1800. Part of the money raised goes straight towards helping underprivileged communities and future community projects. The majority of the money raised will send me to Africa so that I can help and make a difference.
