I want to go to Malawi and Participate in relief activities. Malawi is one of the world's least-developed countries. The economy is heavily based on agriculture, and it has a largely rural and rapidly growing population. Malawi has a low life expectancy and high infant mortality. HIV/AIDS is highly prevalent, which both reduces the labour force and requires increased government expenditures. Recently, Malawi is hit by huge Tropical Cyclone Freddy.

The number of people affected by the passage of the Tropical Cyclone Freddy weather system in Malawi continues to rise, with 345,183 people displaced, 505 camps established, 438 deaths, 918 injured and 282 people missing as of 17 March, according to Malawi’s Department of Disaster Management Affairs (DoDMA). At least 280,000 children in Malawi have been affected by the storm, according to UNICEF. These figures are expected to rise in the days ahead as further information becomes available, especially in areas that have been cut off from communications.
