My Travel Story

Hey there everyone,
Nick here! Studying for everyone has been quite difficult with the Covid-19 Pandemic and most students have had to be online with Zoom classes all day. I personally have been greatly affected by this as I have had a difficult and stressful time navigating online and without the discipline of teachers, I found it difficult to treat turn-in deadlines more strictly.

My college is located in the Seattle area and they are offering a Study Abroad program this summer in Costa Rica, which I would love to attend because it would be the first in-person class for me since February of 2020, and also it would mean I also get to receive college credits along the way. As a college student - I am working a part-time job at my local McDonalds which I manage along with college clubs and studying. Because of my rent/bills and college tuition, I wouldn't have enough saved by the deadline of the application (June 1st, 2021). I have filled out a few scholarships to see if I may be able to receive some more help. The cost of this trip is the airfare, tuition, food, stay, and a bit more expenses. I know many people are going through a rough time right now with the pandemic, however, any donations will be very much appreciated! If I get these donations it would mean a lot as it will also be my first time traveling outside of the country! I hope I can receive help by the June 1st deadline or I'm not going to be able to attend. Thanks, everyone, and once again any help is greatly appreciated.
