Hi! My name is Amaris, I'm a rising sophomore and during the Spring 2023 semester, I will have the opportunity to complete my semester abroad in South Korea. This has been my dream since I was in high school when I first started learning Korean. I'm an anthropology major on the pre-med track and being able to fulfill my dream of studying abroad in South Korea will allow me to immerse myself in the culture and history of the country that made me fall in love with languages and explore other cultures. However, being able to pay for this amazing opportunity will be difficult for me and my family as I come from a single-parent household and the cuts in funding from my university and from scholarships due to the pandemic have left my family and me with a lot of economic disparity. If you can help in any way to help me make my dream of studying abroad in South Korea it will be greatly appreciated!
