My Travel Story

Many of you have been here before, knowing that your time with a loved one is limited and desperately wanting to seize the moment. My mother has spent her life giving selflessly to others—opening her heart and home to children who needed unconditional love, support, and safety. She only had one biological daughter but helped mentor many others in need that came into her life journey. 

Over the past four years, she has been courageously battling a recurring meningioma tumor, a condition that has required multiple treatments and may soon require another skull-based surgery in the near future. Despite the physical toll and financial stress, she remains one of the most loving and resilient people I know! Every day, despitre the constant hardship, she stays strong in her faith and projects the peace that God has gifted her. 

Travel and experiencing the world has always been a dream. But she was always taking care of others - family & strangers alike. Coming from a low-income family, the funds to travel felt impossible. Yet she raised me, her daughter, to go after anything I wanted in this life and I had the opportunity to travel the world thanks to her encouragement and confidence in me. Now it's time to gift her with this adventure of a lifetime. This journey would mean more than sightseeing. It would be a healing experience, a boost to her spirit, and precious time together before she faces more medical uncertainty in the coming year.

Unfortunately, with medical costs and tight finances, we can't make this happen alone. Every contribution, big or small, brings us closer to sharing this once-in-a-lifetime experience. Thank you for helping us create beautiful memories for this life-long caregiver who deserves to have her moment too!
